We are happy to announce that our 100 Anniversary Commemorative book is available for sale! It offers 132 pages full of rich text and beautiful photographs from the conception of St. Michael's Church and its parish up to the present. You can read about the early Slovak immigrants who built the church, all the priests that have served throughout the years in St. Michael's Church, and the parishioners and their memories tied to the church. What are you doing to get ready for Lent? What needs to happen so that you can experience Lent with greater clarity, integrity, and joy? Come to the Church of St. Ann and take some time to set the direction for your Lenten journey of faith 2022. We will explore resources and many prayer practices from the rich treasure of the Christian faith that you can use this Lent to make it a meaningful spiritual experience. Participants will be invited to create a Lenten Rhythm or plan to guide them spiritually during the Lenten season and beyond. Lent is a time for reflection, repentance, and renewal – to begin again. This principle of starting over is inherent in Benedictine spirituality. You are invited to a Lenten study using as our guide the book, “A Blessed Life – Benedictine Guidelines for Those Who Long for Good Days.” (Participants need to purchase a copy of their own book.) It is written by Wil Derkse, himself a Benedictine Oblate, and published by Liturgical Press. (Participants will purchase their own copy of the book.) The study is being led by parishioner Michael Lavdas, who has been an Oblate since 2016, and parishioner of St. Ann’s since 2017. Mike will be assisted by his wife, Susanna, who has been an Oblate since 2008, and is the founder of two Oblate Chapters: the Holy Family Chapter in Levittown, PA and Our Lady of Sorrows Chapter, meeting in Fairless Hills, PA. Our study will meet on the Tuesdays of Lent at 7 pm, with the first meeting on March 8th. We will learn a way of living in the world that will guide you through Lent and beyond. At the end of the study, if there is enough interest, we will form a Benedictine Oblate Chapter at the Church of Saint Ann.

Join us at the Church of St. Ann during the season of Lent in our Lenten Small Group Sessions on the Sunday Readings. Small groups provide a way to journey with others through Lent. Small groups can meet virtually or in-person weekly (six times) during Lent to explore the Sunday scripture readings and topics relevant to a living faith in today’s world—groups are formed based on those who come forward to participate. The e-resource we have available, free to all participants, is “Around the Lenten Circle: Small Groups Sessions on the Sunday Readings” by Ann Naffziger. St. Michael’s Church in Trenton, NJ is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its consecration this year. It is a big milestone for our American, Slovak & Korean communities. For this platinum milestone, we will be publishing a commemorative booklet. It will contain the history of our church and its three communities with photos of our parish upgrades and events. Expressions of good wishes from individuals, parishes, organizations, and businesses will also be displayed. Therefore, for our commemorative booklet, we are kindly asking that you submit your greeting and/or organization ad with the specified donation. The support from individuals, other parishes, communities, and businesses toward this endeavor will aid us all. With your support, we will commemorate our centennial milestone and will continue to serve our faith family and spread the Gospel into the future. Once again, thank you for your support!

Help us celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Consecration of Saint Michael's Church! We are trying to collect 100 bags of gently used clothes from each community of our church with our Clothing Drive Fundraiser. Every Sunday, from Sep. 5th to Oct. 3rd, 8 AM to 1 PM in the Hall of St. Michael's Church. We hope you can help us meet our goal!

Saint Michael's community, please be aware that the wooden ramp that grants access to wheelchairs at St. Michael's church is broken, therefore unusable. Young people from the Slovak community honored all moms attending Masses, English and Slovak, on Mother’s Day. Girls sang a beautiful song and boys distributed roses to all moms in the congregation. It was a beautiful celebration! Enjoy the pictures on our Photo Gallery page!
