Adult Leaders—to lead the sessions—readings, prayers, and reflection. Leaders are scheduled on a rotating basis; detailed resources for the preparation and reflection are provided by the Religious Education Office.
Child Leaders—to carry the Children’s Lectionary in the Entrance and Dismissal Processions with the Adult Leader.

Generations of Faith (Family Centered Faith Formation)
Saint Ann's intergenerational faith formation program, "Generations of Faith," encourages and empowers parishioners of all ages to learn by observing, questioning and praying together. It provides resources and support so that all members, regardless of age, might continue their religious learning.
Monthly gatherings begin with all sharing in a meal together and continue with age-appropriate breakout sessions. It is an option for parents contemplating a family catechesis program to assist them in educating their children in the faith. PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY
The Church of Saint Ann’s religious education/faith formation programs embraces parents in their role as the primary teachers of their children’s faith. Our task is to help each person develop and nurture their personal relationship with God and encourage their participation in the life and mission of the church and in living their faith in the world.
In our GENERATIONS OF FAITH Program (Family Faith Formation - Grades 1-8),
families come together seven times throughout the year in the FDC building. Each session begins with a meal and an introduction to a theme. Adults, teens, and children move to a designated room for the age-appropriate learning experience and then return to share what they learned. The session ends with announcements and prayer. Each session lasts about an hour and a half. Families are asked to continue the conversation at home supported by resources from the parish and online materials from the curriculum. Faith formation takes place within the context of family and the parish community. Therefore, families are asked to participate in Sunday mass as often as possible and in the social/prayer events of the parish as fit their schedule. Our GOF 2024/2025 theme is "Spirit With Us."
