Sacristans
Sacristans are responsible for seeing that all is in place for the proper celebration of the sacraments. Duties include setting up for Mass, taking proper care of vestments, vessels, and books, keeping the sacristy in order, and ensuring that the necessary supplies (bread, wine, candles, etc.) are on hand. The sacristan's role is very "hands—on" and is vital to good worship.
