Welcome to
the
Center for
Faith Justice
We are
happy to announce that after a good deal of searching, discussion,
reflection,
and prayer,
we have found a great use for our parish house. Since May, the Center
for Faith
Justice has been in the process of moving from Saint Joseph’s Seminary in
Princeton
to the convent at Saint Ann (CASA), 24 Rossa Avenue, Lawrenceville.
The Church
of Saint Ann is developing a relationship with the Center for Faith
Justice.
This is a
non-profit organization that seeks to provide transformative experiences
of
Christian
“faith in action” for young people through a passionate commitment to
charity and
service, peace and justice. The Center provides community service
and Justice
Education Programs for youth and young adults, dynamic ministry
professionals to parishes and schools, particularly in the areas of
youth/campus,
young
adult, religious education, and service/justice ministries and Faith
Formation.
It
offers “training for transformation” for lay Catholics. This includes
workshops,
retreats
and training of the next generation of Catholic ministry professionals
informed by
the Catholic tradition, Vatican II and the Christian call to service and
justice.
We are
happy to partner with the Center for Faith Justice and look forward to
working
with
them to enhance our parish life.
